How it works
The page is divided into six sections, each accessible from the sidebar (desktop) or the tab strip (mobile). Edit one section at a time and click Save Changes when done. Changes go live on your public website immediately after saving.Sections
Hero Section
The hero is the first thing customers see when they visit your website — the full-width banner at the top of the page. You can set:- Headline — your restaurant name or a short brand statement
- Tagline — a one-line description shown below the headline
- Hero images — one or more photos that rotate in the banner
About Section
The About section tells your restaurant’s story. Fields include:- Section title — heading shown above the about text (default: “About Us”)
- Description — your main about text, 2–4 sentences recommended
- Mission — a short mission statement shown as a highlighted callout
- Core values — a list of values shown as tags or bullet points
- About image — a photo shown alongside the about text
Featured Items
This section controls the heading above your featured menu items on the home page. You can set:- Section title — heading text (default: “Featured Dishes”)
- Description — optional subtitle text below the heading
Location
This section controls the heading above your location/map embed on the home page.- Section title — heading text (default: “Our Location”)
Gallery
This section controls the heading above your photo gallery on the home page.- Section title — heading text (default: “Gallery”)
- Description — optional subtitle text
Contact CTA
This section controls the call-to-action block that prompts customers to get in touch.- Title — heading text (default: “Get In Touch”)
- Description — supporting text shown below the heading
Saving changes
Click Save Changes in the top-right header or in the footer bar below the editor. On mobile, a floating Save Changes button appears at the bottom of the screen. The button changes state to confirm the outcome:Saving one section does not affect other sections. Each section saves independently.
Preview mode
Click Preview in the top-right header to toggle a live preview panel alongside the editor. The preview updates as you type so you can see how changes will look before saving.Error handling
If a save fails, an error banner appears above the editor explaining the cause:Permissions
Staff withcan_view_content can view the Content Management page. Staff with can_manage_content can make and save changes. Without can_manage_content, all fields are read-only and a yellow notice is shown at the top of the page. The Save Changes button is disabled.
