Every user in DishInk has a staff account with an assigned role, branch access, and PIN. Owners and administrators create and manage accounts under Staff Management.

Overview

A staff account controls:
  • Login credentials (email + password, PIN, or both)
  • Role and permissions
  • Assigned branches
  • Pay rate and payroll rules
  • Personal details for shift reports

Create a staff account

Add staff

Add staff account

Deleting a staff account is permanent for audit purposes. Deactivate instead if the user is on leave.

Tips & best practices

Assign roles by job function, not by seniority. “Head chef” is a schedule label, but their DishInk role should be Kitchen or a custom role.

Common mistakes

Do not share accounts. Every audit trail entry attaches to the account, so shared accounts destroy accountability.
