DishInk supports two authentication methods: full email + password login for managers and administrators, and short PIN login for cashiers, waiters, and kitchen staff on shared terminals.

Overview

  • Email + password — for owners, administrators, and general managers on the dashboard.
  • PIN login — for cashiers, waiters, and kitchen staff on shared POS terminals, tablets, and KDS screens.
  • SSO (enterprise) — Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 single sign-on for larger deployments.

Log in with PIN

PIN login is tied to the current shift. When you clock out, your session ends automatically.

Two-factor authentication

Administrators and owners can enable 2FA under Settings → Security. Once enabled, an authenticator-app code is required after email + password.
