Setting a base price
The base price is set in the item’s edit form under Price (K). This price applies to all locations unless a branch override is set. To update a base price:- Go to Front Operations → Manage Menu
- Click Edit on the item
- Update the Price field and click Save Changes
Branch price overrides (multi-location)
On multi-location accounts, each branch can have its own price for any item. This is useful when the same dish costs more at a city-centre location than at a suburban one.Opening the branch price editor
Click the Locations button (📍) on any item row to open the Branch Price Editor. It shows all your branches with their current override status.Setting a branch price
- Find the branch row in the editor
- Enter a price in the K field — leave it blank to use the base price
- Click Save [Branch] Price
Resetting to base price
If a branch has an override, a Reset button appears on its row. Click it to remove the override and revert to the base price.Hiding an item at a specific branch
Use the Visible / Hidden toggle on the branch row to hide the item at that location. Hidden items do not appear on that branch’s public menu or POS. A red Hidden badge and a warning message appear when an item is set to hidden.Hiding an item at a branch is different from marking it unavailable globally. A hidden item only disappears at that specific branch — all other branches are unaffected.
Override indicators
Items with branch overrides show a small N location overrides badge next to the base price in the menu list. This lets you quickly see which items have been customised per branch.Branch staff and pricing
Branch staff with thecan_manage_menu permission but without full multi-location access can only manage prices for their own branch. When they click Edit (shown as Set Price) on an item, they are taken directly to the branch price editor for their location only. They cannot edit the base price or see other branches.
