# Themes

> Visual identity for your website — colours, typography, and layout.

Themes control the visual identity of your website — colours, typography, layout, and imagery. Switch themes with a single tap.

## Overview

DishInk ships with themes matched to venue type:

* **Bistro** — warm, casual dining
* **Fine dining** — elegant, restrained
* **Café** — bright, welcoming
* **Bar** — dark, moody
* **Fast food** — bold, energetic

Custom brand colours can be applied on top of any theme.

<Note>
  Themes are mobile-first. Every layout is tested on the smallest common screen size before shipping.
</Note>

## Tips & best practices

<Tip>
  Match the theme to venue reality, not aspiration. A café in a fine-dining theme looks pretentious.
</Tip>

## Common mistakes

<Warning>
  Do not use more than two brand colours. Extra colours dilute recognisability.
