# Staff Access

> Grant per-user access to one, many, or all branches.

Grant each staff member access to one, many, or all branches. Cashiers typically work one branch; area managers span several; owners access all.

## Overview

Access levels:

* **Home branch** — default branch on login
* **Additional branches** — optional, can switch
* **Group access** — owners and administrators only, sees group-level reports

  PIN login for shared terminals is branch-specific. A cashier with access to two branches sees the branch selector at login.

  Limit multi-branch access to genuine multi-site staff. Excessive access creates audit noise.

  Do not grant every manager group-level access. Group reports include sensitive metrics that not all managers need.
